Default Inexpensive mod that will put a smile in your face

I added welt piping to the doors. Spent about $3 and 20 minutes installing.

I like it. I doubt there is an orange that is close to AO, though.

Did you go with a particular brand/style? And, is the mounting just a "push in and it sticks"? or did you need to use some adhesive?

I went with a fabric style piping, but would recommend a vinyl type just because the fabric is too flimsy and would add some extra time in the install. No adhesive, just line it up and push it in

Hmmm, they do have pretty good match to SSB in the stone blue color.
So how did you attach it, just pressure by pushing it into the gap ??

Search ebay for "vinyl welting". Lots of choices.

I did the same last year. I've been making some changes to the door so removed the lower trim but still have the top portion on.

Can you post some pics of your interior? I have the cashmere as well and will like to see your combo.

Thanks

Fun idea, thanks ... I decided to give it a try. Have a DSOM, so I knew I could only come close. Fortunately, my oldest granddaughter has parachute cord in just about every color, so I found a dark orange that came close ...

I don't have anything current but have been steadily converting a lot of the cashmere to ebony this winter. I plan on starting a thread when I finish up the work though.

I love monterey red and LMB with cashmere but not my victory red.

Well I like to MOD and I get positive feedback at the car shows but a lot of CF members have an aversion to changing the looks so I keep most of the mods to myself where cf is concerned .
