I purchased an '07 base coupe with Z51 for track use and was looking for some aero. I know the Z06/ZR1 splitter had a reinforcement bracket that mounted around the front grill but cannot find anything comparable for the base model. I'm hesitant to just screw a ZR1 style splitter to the bottom of the nose without the reinforcement. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I installed a ZR1 style splitter to my 07 coupe without the reinforcement. Had it up to 160 several times with no problem. The reinforcement bracket is made only for wide bodies. I can't say that my splitter did me any good, I just did it for looks.
