Yes they do. Chrome would make the red pop!

Every wheel finish is dependent on vehicle. My Yukon Denali and Sierra HD Denali both have chrome. Older collector cars are most likely to look best in chrome. New performance cars are definitely better suited for Black as the available inventory and cars on the street dictate. At one time I loved chrome on my C6 but as times change, tastes change.
Agreed 100%-
On my Lemans Blue Vette I had the stock gray wheels, chrome Z06 wheels, polished aluminium CCW's, black CCW's, graphite Forgestars and finally black Forgestars. Every wheel had pluses and minuses, but I preferred the darker wheel since it matched my black interior and black trim on the car.
On my Centennial I've had black Forgestars, carbon Fiber 360 wheels and now brushed black BC Forged wheels. On the Centennial, I prefer the BC forged because they complement the color of the car without being black.
Personally, my only take away with dark wheels after all those changes are: (i) dark wheels that complement the accent colors of our vettes always look good and (ii) on 2/3 pc. wheels, a darker center and lighter lip looks best because it gives you some contrast.

Then, at some future date, someone (most likely some black wheel low-life ) will revive the thread and it will start all over again.

Black wheels gives you a much better chance of hiding all the brake dust created from performance pads and lack of keeping the wheels clean due to your fat cells rioting. more of an aggressive or speed oriented look. Both look great in the right application. Just depends what look you are trying to go for.

I love this thread lol. I am severely torn because I HONESTLY think that both types of wheels look so freaking amazing. I love the chrome over a black vette, but then I love the Black on a black vette too, namely the Centennial GS. That's hands down my favorite vette. However, if I had to choose between one with chrome or black wheels it would be a very tough decision for me. I'd probably go with the black and switch back and forth if need be to get the best of both worlds. Man both are pretty I must say.

Just remember, most posers have it wrong. Completely wrong. Fact is, chrome gets you home. For real.
