My stock '07 3LT has a leather-wrapped wheel. Did it only come on the 3LT?

Your comment about aiming at things to break your splitter was hilarious!!!
What camera is that? Did it fit perfectly in front grill or did you have to modify something? Looks very clean.

I don't know. I was given the wheel (brand new) from a forum member who was selling a set of rims/tires. I drove to pick up the rims so he saved on shipping, so he threw in the wheel and a shift ****.

So was the unwrapped wheel stock, or don't you know?

Maybe some of the old(er) coots will chime in and set the record straight.

This is definitely my latest "First World Problem" and will not be able to sleep until it is resolved.

Both my '05 1SB and my '09 2 LZ had leather wrapped steering wheels.

Probably not very helpful.

Thanks, I will probably seldom close the valves either. However, I sometime leave for work very early in the morning and it's nice to close them to be considerate of my neighbors. While I certainly don't think it's too loud open, there are instances (like when a Sheriff is rolling up behind you at an intersection) when it's nice to be able to close them.

From what I was told it was a one off wheel that was given to him. It's wrapped in black leather with red stitching. The wiring harness was different. I had to remove the wiring off my old wheel and put it on the new wheel.
That's all I know.

Well, it's not technically the weekend yet, but I took today off, so early weekend. When I purchased the car, the dealer I got it from, as part of the deal, bought new ashtray and cup-holder assemblies as the ashtray cover latch was broken and the cup-holder cover was in pieces. They were going to install them for me, but since I bought a MGW shifter, I figured I'd install those parts myself since I'd have the center console off anyway. Well, today was the day. Took about three hours total which includes going slowly using the MGW video(s). I needed both videos, the normal one for all of their shifters and the Flat Stick one that shows how to modify the boot to use the grommet. Also, some time was spent searching for a couple of screws to use in the hockey stick trim since the previous owner had installed a carbon fiber center console and just didn't put those two screws in. Fortunately, I had two screws that fit. I also had to fully remove the console due to having to install the new parts in it, but that was just two additional electrical connectors, no big deal and I got to do the replacement work in the house (air conditioning). Anyway, the install went smoothly and I'm quite happy with the result. Short precise shifts and it looks good too
I also ordered the washers for the Anti-Venom mod from Amazon. They will arrive Sunday, so in plenty of time since I have an appointment next Thursday to have new TPMS sensors installed. Since it will be on the lift anyway, I'll install the washer(s) at that time.
