Weekend previous, replaced rear main seal/back plate/gasket to fix oil leak.

Last weekend, local car show with my grandpa and his 26 Model T (with a 60's era corvette engine in it). Pretty much the reason I'm a car guy now.

Yay to grandpas!

I guess I'm from a different era: Three of my grandparents died before I was born, and the living GF I did have was born in 1870. He knew horses, but never learned to drive a car. He died when I was 12.

Picked up my car from the body shop after having a C7 Carbon ZR1 Extended spoiler painted and installed, and a full paint correction done. Next weekend, full body racing stripes.

I got them from CFKits (www.cfkits.com). I went with the vacuum infused carbon fiber, which is a little bit more. They post as a vendor on the forum from time to time.

Drove it from Denver to Durango. Fun. Buggy. Now I have to wash it.

Love the passes. The scenery. Colorado Rockies are so stunning. Still lots of snow. This year over 200% of normal.

All I did was polish it this afternoon, then met my sis and her hubby in Naples, about 10 miles south of me, at a bar for dinner. Weather has been spectacular -- 80s and blue skies, and for days to come.

Took the top off, which I don't do that much, but it was just too perfect out not to.

Coming down CR 12 into Naples:

Main St.

Grimes Glen, right on the edge of town, but you have to park and walk a ways to get here:

Thanks Mrs. Ow.

I didn't take any of those pix, the colored leaves were during early fall. This time of year it's just solid wall-to-wall green.

Wife and I went to local car show in our town, always Fathers Day weekend

GREAT weather here this weekend (high in LOW 80's and very little humidty) . Had top out and just cruised today

Of course car was detailed this am before we pulled out.

Neat thing about car show was out of probably 400 cars I bet 100-150 were Vette's

Replaced the front inner fender cover, lower bumper and brake air duct on passenger side. A road alligator took them out last week.

Yesterday I did the Following:

(1) Replaced the drivers side rear Hub Bearing

(2) Replaced driver and passenger rear rotor (Z51) - found a crack in the drivers side, so decided to replace both

(3) Replaced driver and passenger emergency brake shoes

Put it all back together and took for a nice test drive and working like a champ!

Thanks,Matt
