Won a $25 gift certificate to our local Tiki bar in Oxford Maryland at cars and coffee this am. Rain actually held off.
It was for having the most HP - 580.

Had a street performance tune done by Tampa Tuning. It was a blast. Phil was awesome and did a great job explaining everything he worked on. I’m enjoying the improved responsiveness and am now clearly infected with the modding bug.

Am I among the few here who actually use the "Preview" function, and correct any errors there before actually posting?

Today was spent cleaning 3000 miles of road trip off our GS. Next big adventure is to Elkhart Lake WI for Road America in August.

What an incredible car to take on trips!!

This weekend I won Best in Division in a LICOA Judge car show. My car is a modified Z06....2006...missed by one car....lost to a 1957 on which the owner spent $150,000 restoring. How do you beat that guy without spending the same$ ?

2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified

Default

I took my GS racing in a half mile event this weekend. Made 5 runs the first one being a mess but then I got down to business...... made 4 more runs and they were all around the 135 mph mark. had a head wind of about 20 to 25 mph. Last year no wind did a 138.9.

Lots of fun and some real hard core Corvette speed freaks were there with all kinds of interesting ways to make hp........ I think I was the only Corvette there unboosted......may have to fix that one of these days.....

Car makes 400 hp to the rear wheels and 400 tq.........6M...... long tubes and CAI and tune.

Sunday was another cruise day with the local club. It was a mystery tour - we were split into two groups, but drove independently. We were supposed to find answers to questions about the route and things you could see along side of the roads. There were some nice twisty bits, and an interesting stop at an out-of-the way cider shop. Everyone was supposed to meet back at a Mandarin (Welcome to Mandarin) for lunch.

Here I am parked as safely as I could find in the lot.

Here's a couple more cars that were on the tour.

I think we started with around 30 cars, mostly c6s and c7s, with one c5. Probably would have been more, except the forecast was for rain. Turned out to be a mix of sun and clouds, and no rain until that night.

Wow, that's scary. I assume your car was indoors?

I'm glad we don't get anything like that around here. One-inch hail is extremely rare. EDIT that. More like 1/2" hail around here is very rare.
