I checked the mousetraps around it, nothing.

Was gonna go out for a beer, but a buddy called and I ended up yakking a long time so I never went anywhere. Spotty rain anyway, so the car's still clean.

Supposed to be sunny and nice all week, so that's a different story.

I've driven my 007 almost 700 miles. Today most of it in the rain.....and it didn't MELT. Oh, I'll need to clean it up once we get home, but it didn't melt.

Got new front brakes installed. Drove there in the rain, drove back in the rain. Can't drive anywhere if not willing to drive there in the rain. It's been raining for almost 3 weeks solid, just nuts.

installed the manual cooling fan over ride. put the final pieces of trim back on it after doing a full wide body conversion the last couple months. and then took it for a little spin to put some miles on the new engine before it goes to the dyno on wed. and hoping the trans and diff survive the dyno.

Swapped the Transparent top for the solid black, lubed the seals and put the O rings on to eliminate the noise. Put the rear splash guards on.

Sunday I loaded with 4 bags of mulch, best decision, ever! Took me an hour to get back home.....I told my wife it was her fault for giving me errand boy duties on a sunny day.

Drove up to the highest point east of the Mississippi. Took very roundabout routes coming and going, some very nice twisties to flog through. Had the fuse pulled on the NPP the whole time, lovely sound but there can be a bit of a drone at low RPM, need to install a switch. Got home a little later than I expected so no time to clean her up, have to wash her tonight so I can go to the Carolina Corvettes meeting tomorrow night.

Single day track event with BMW CCA @ Cresson MSR

I usually do 2 day events, but I kinda like the single day. Will probably be mixing it up from now on throughout the year.

Washed and waxed. Then today dropped it off for the next 2 days at my local car audio shop to have my speakers, amp and sub installed. It's only there for 2 days because they are keeping it inside and it's going to rain tomorrow. I never drive it in the rain.

I actually just got my '64 back from having the engine rebuilt, so I drove that all weekend whenever I needed to go anyplace. Still one minor issue, but otherwise it was nice to get out this weekend.
