How bad was it to get the lower radiator support out by yourself without a lift? Mine needs attention but I haven't decided how to go about it.

It's holding the radiator up not the car.

Yes holding the radiator and intercooler in place.

It's super simple it's 4 bolts and unclip your wire harness.
Hardest part was getting my intercooler pipe off the coupler lol
Took 15min

Today I installed my MGW shifter as well. I didn't go with the flat handle one. Install was straightforward after watching the video on YouTube. I also installed LG's Man Switch. Love having the ability to open or close the exhaust. Didn't want to deal with the M2W remote (although it's a cheaper product).

Just finished installing a Corsa Sport on my 07 Vert, wow, what a difference over the stock. This is what a Corvette should sound like! I got a great deal here on the forum. Last week Corvette World of Houston posted a used system @ 11:35 am for $850.00 shipped, I noticed it at lunch time, called them, I had here in Massachusetts on Thursday. Fortunately my friend has a lift, 3 hours later sweet sound.

Wife and I just got home from a 1600 mile trip. We left last Sunday. Went up to Norfolk to visit son in the Navy and then spent 4 days in the Outer Banks. Picture is at the Wright Brothers Memorial, Kill Devil Hills NC.

Took it to a car show to support a club member, and ended up winning first place.

Saturday I installed a Wind Restrictor on our 07 Convertible. We acquired our Vette last November and had the disappointment of having to put in winter storage as the snow came soon after our acquisition.

We took the car out of storage in the beginning of April but it hasn't been top down weather until the last few weeks. Being a convertible novice I haven't found riding in an open convertible all that pleasant with the back drafts and wind buffeting but the Wind Restrictor has greatly improved that situation.

The weather has been great for the past week so we have had lots of fun outings and drives these last few days putting about 300 miles on the car in 3 days. I'm sun burned but really enjoyed the experience.

I might have to come out of retirement and go back to work so I can afford to keep gas in the tank since my otherwise daily driver a VW Jetta TDI gets nearly 50 MPG and with some spirited driving the Corvette doesn't even get 1/2 of that and 94 octane gas costs a lot more than diesel fuel lol.

Big question: What's going on with the rear roof/window line? It looks like there is an extra piece of trim over the rear glass (custom hard top?)..

Nice-
