What did you do to your C6 this weekend?

I'm getting my steering wheel from Auto Dynamics but it wasn't cheaper than $800 (A little bit over). Got a flat bottom with Alacantra on top & bottom with a white Jake skull up top.
Really looking forward to the S2T paddle shifters, and using them as they were meant, left to downshift & right to upshift.

Not my car, but those are hatch extensions to give the C6 the look of the C7 Stingrays. Not for me.

Installed the Ebay front splitter and hopefully fixed the squeaking roof.

I installed a 450 Walbro fuel (PITA job) and put together my flex fuel lines with the sensor. I also use my new 1/2 impact, love this tool!
This is not the final product, test fitting.
My new 1/2 impact, love this thing.
Siemens Deka 80 Injectors waiting to go in.

On the way home from seafood shopping today, I stopped at the local ice cream stand. Small town, yeah everybody knows everybody, but I did NOT know this young woman. There's a lot of cottages on the nearby lake; she could be a summer person from out of the area.
At any rate we're inside getting cones and she had, I think, four little kids with her, all somewhere between 6-8, all girls I think. Obviously, they couldn't have all been hers.
So everybody goes outside to a table to consume ice cream. My Vette was parked right in front of them. All of a sudden, the girls all run behind my car and look at the back of it. I'm looking at the woman quizzically and curious.
She said, "They wanted to know what kind of car it is." Suddenly one of the girls shouts, from behind the car. "It's a Corvette!"
Haha, it made my day, which was okay to start with. Cobalt blue skies, high of around 70.

Did an oil change today. Pulled up on my ramps fine. Backing off super slow sounded a bit different than the usual rubber air dam scraping sound. Turns out I broke off both sides. Must be my new tires are just that much shorter than the old ones and they cought the race ramps just right. I consider that whole air dam a wear items anyway...

Finished installing some "chrome" welting in the passenger door and around the passenger A/C vent on the dash, so my minor interior mods are finished. My car has the two-tone cashmere/ebony interior and as I've seen some others on the forum use body color welting to accent the interior, my car is CRM and I don't think cashmere/ebony separated by a red welting line would look good. So I used the "chrome." To me, it just finishes the interior; the gap on the door between the two colors was too obvious. It looked like something was missing. Had my interior been one solid color I don't think I would have done anything.

Rattle-canned a set of track wheels (with some chips and scratches) I bought a while back. I did a pretty crappy job, good thing the local track holds test-and-tunes in the evening lol.
