Those side markers look good. Were they your stock markers that you refinished or were they aftermarket?
I bought clear aftermarket side markers and then had them painted/ tinted by a local body shop. (Total cost was $250.00). I'm curious to know if there is any difference between the clear tinted/painted ones and the stock yellow/red ones.

2 light coats of "Plasti-Dip" cost about a buck. I looked at all the options and being a cheap skate I thought what the hell are these guys thinking with these prices for a couple of little plastic lenses Not me, value has to be there and make some sort of economical sense.

I originally wanted the oracle ghosted carbon flash markers... but not for over $430.00.

Drove it. I wasn't able to drive for 2 months due to the Macular Degeneration affecting my vision. FINALLY the injections are starting to work so I took advantage of the situation.
God it felt good.

Lately only checking the trickle charger, but finally drove it to the golf course. Three birds in a row on 7, 8, 9. 46 degrees when finished so the top came down and cranked up Van Halen's first. Good day for the end of January in Maryland!

Gets kind of dirty if you don't cover it so did a little clean up! Nice weather here so I drive it every couple of days!

Lol- it's your fault for inspiring me to do it. I knew I wouldn't be able to find a template and I couldn't find a good local shop to make them so I ordered a set in black w leather diagonal (not diamond) red stitching.
I'll have them In 3-4 weeks and then the pics will come. For now I have a car with no steering wheel, no airbag, and basically no bezels of any sort, while I wait for my various weekend purchases to come in... in short, this thread has been horrible for my bank account.

[QUOTE=choppychop;1593995598]Red, you going to the Hot Springs meet in April?[/
Unfortunately, no vacations for me until July. I do however keep telling my girlfriend that we need to take the vette on up there. Beautiful area choppy

Decontaminated the windows with Nanoskin, stripped the Rain-X and polished the glass with CarPro Ceriglass and rayon pads on my Cyclo polisher, then coated with McKee's 37 Nano Ceramic Glass Coating. This is my first foray into ceramic coatings, we'll see how it does.
