"Buick"???
This is a Buick. My uncle had one exactly like this vert ('55), although I remember it as being more towards a maroon color:
Another uncle had a '57, same color scheme as this. They had 7 kids, and the backseat was always full of potato chips, pop cans, candy wrappers, etc.

I like the look of racing stripes so I ordered some 12” x 60” carbon vinyl wrap from Vvived in Canada and did this. Still working on the back and sides. Going to replace the plane black with carbon.

I have added pinstripes on the sides of the carbon but don’t have a pic of it yet.

Found a local "hand wash" car wash, and they give you free adult beverages while you wait. Pretty good work!

I put mine up on jack stands while it sits during the colder weather. I can still drop it down and take it out if the weather is nice in just a few minutes, but with my soft summer tires if I do not put it up in the air I get flat spots that take forever to go away...lol

Ordered new carbon fiber Center caps from 360 Forged. Insanely overpriced, but I wanted caps that matched my CF Rims...

2022 C6 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Left it in the garage covered up and on batt charger. Our weather about to go in the tank and I am recovering from shoulder surgery. Hopefully I can drive a stick again in a couple weeks, weather permitting.

But as you say (and so do I) I like stripes. I never had any comments from people before I added the stripes, but yesterday at at a dealer, 5 people stoped to tell me what a great looking vett I had.
So to each his own.

SLP CAI and custom Cover...
Installed an SLP CAI and custom fabricated an Aluminum Cover to finish it out.
I fabricated the cover to keep water from dripping on the filter element at the forward edge of the hood, but also helps shields some of the heat coming from the engine compartment.
Used 1100-H14 series Aluminum and then drilled for two 8mm Christmas tree retainers at the aft edge, and installed rubber edging on the forward edge to give it a finished look and to cushion the fit-up to the bumper cover face.
Pics for your viewing pleasure.
Bill.

Saw someone else do this the other day.
So I bought some 1/4” chrome flexible trim at Auto Zone. $10.00 for 20’.
Could have gone with 1/2” but thought I would try the 1/4” first.
What do you think?
