Imma taking her out tomorrow for the first time this season. I will put my new red mats in, that have been sitting here for over a month.
The stray tomcat living in my barn has a name now, "Freddy." I actually got within a couple of feet from him yesterday.
The other morning when I went to work in my shop there was a mangled mouse carcass on the floor. Ha, one of my OTHER cats must have killed it. If Freddy had killed it he would have eaten it, cuz I don't feed him.
With three cats around (plus other reasons) I'm not too worried about mice destroying my Vette.

Changed the OEM Z51 optioned shocks to Bilstein Sports all around. Purchased from Rock Auto, and DIY'd in a few hours.
Much smoother ride than the worn out OEM shocks (50K miles).
Also changed out the rear hatch struts, as they were getting weak.
Wash-waxed, and got it ready for the first road trip of the season. Leaving Wednesday for a 4 day getaway to Northeast USA. Forecast is possible rain, but no biggie. It will wash and clean up OK.

Post a picture of those red mats when you have time. I have been thinking about doing that as well. Since you already spent the money.........

Drive it to work Friday morning, then racing Friday night, and grocery shopping Saturday morning. Rain started falling shortly after I got home so it'll be parked until next weekend.
I'd say it's transitioning into a daily driver slowly but surely.

Had two nice drives yesterday and today. The stock rad was swapped out for a Dewitts on Thursday. Also changed the battery on Thursday 'cause I had no idea how old the existing AC Delco one was, and if there was supposed to be a date sticker on the side, it was gone.
Replaced it with another AC Delco, part #88865290, CCA 640. It is supposedly a 'Gold Standard' battery, and does come with a 42 month warranty (non-prorated). If it fails within the 42 months, it gets replaced without charge at any GM dealer. I'm OK with that.
Buddy next door has the old battery, to be used in his VW microbus (someday).

Cleaned it up and put it up before all of the rain got here.

I had the sorry sensation of the clutch going to the floor and staying there. The inglorious ride home on the flatbed, thank you AAA. Had the car for 3 weeks, did the clutch fluid change 2 weeks ago with DOT 4. Good news is it should be covered by the special coverage for this issue.
No pics, wish it didn't happen.

Had the great guys at Vengeance Racing swap in a VR ported FAST 102 IM and a Nick Williams 102 TB. Coming from an unported FAST 92/stock throttle body combo, peak gains were 7whp and 38lb-ft. Gains under the curve were an impressive 40whp and 40lb-ft at around 5k RPM. Final numbers after the re-tune were 432whp/395lb-ft of torque through an A6 with 3.42 gears (VR installed C6Z differential).
