I installed Nappa Leather seat covers from "Ridies," one of our venders.

Below is after sitting in the sun for two days, the wrinkles are a little less:

Well it warmed up enough today to where I could go out and do my steering wheel swap, well, ok not really, but I did the swap anyway because I just couldn't wait any longer. I utilized some instructions I came across on this forum. I have a aftermarket stereo in mine (Pioneer AVIC 8200 NEX with the PAC RP5-GM11 interface). I bought the steering wheel from a fellow forum member who had it advertised on the classified section of this forum, the airbag I bought off eBay, and the clock spring I bought new from a vender from this forum.

The steering wheel controls work great and light up as they should. I found the install of the wheel to be pretty simple, I thought the worst part of the install was having to pull my stereo out again to hook everything up. I'll be great to have steering wheel controls on the Vette as I've gotten very used to them on my other vehicles. Here's a photo of everything installed and buttoned up. All in all I think it was well worth it to have that functionality.

The sun disappeared within the hour and has been overcast since. I'll put them out when the sun decides to shine again and then report back.

Finished front splitter install, blacked out side markers, and replaced the front air dam which was damaged. The install of the splitter turned out to be a massive time sink, much more than I thought it would be going into it, but happy I didn't rush it. Used all stainless hardware for the custom mounting.

Changed my display message and drove it to work for the first time since winterization. Now if I could just find the pesky exhaust leak!

Wrapped a front splitter in carbon fiber vinyl and installed it. Sorry for the lousy pics, the sun isn't cooperating.

We have had some really nice weather and the roads are pretty much dry now so, I took my car to the car wash and then drove to Durango for lunch and then home.

I miss driving it.

FINALLY winter has broken here in Iowa and I got her out yesterday for a short drive and then today the wife and I went out running errands. Not many summer cars out yet and we sure got an awful lot of looks!

I also coated the latches, and contact points, on the targa top with dielectric grease, and coated all the weatherstripping with Meguiars weatherstripping formula.
