Default Battery Charger

Have not been driving the C6 much and I'm needing a battery charger that I can keep connected so the battery will not drain. What is a good quality product?

I'll hazard to guess that the majority of folks on here have CTEK's.

I bought this model and have had zero issues with it.

Amazon.com: CTEK (56-158) MULTI US 3300 12 Volt Fully Automatic 4 step Battery Charger: Automotive Amazon.com: CTEK (56-158) MULTI US 3300 12 Volt Fully Automatic 4 step Battery Charger: Automotive

Lots of threads on this topic.

Deltran and CTEK seem most popular. I have a Deltran.

Another good choice is the Battery Tender series. I have the Junior model, but I don't use it that often because Red is my daily driver. I did use it a few years ago when I had my knee replaced and couldn't drive for over a month. I usually connect it to the unswitched outlet in the center console and run the cord out under the driver's door.

CTEK's best seller:

Amazon.com: CTEK (56-864) MUS 4.3 12 Volt Fully Automatic 8 Step Battery Charger: Automotive Amazon.com: CTEK (56-864) MUS 4.3 12 Volt Fully Automatic 8 Step Battery Charger: Automotive

This is what I use, it works great and recovers automatically after power outages.

CTCK and Battery Tender tend to duke it out as the best float charger round these parts. You honestly can't lose with either.

I personally have a Battery Tender plus, and it has done me great for the last 4 years on 2 different C6 Corvettes.

Choose wisely...because it doesn't really matter. They are both great.

I get beat up for this but I have used Shumacher maintainers for years. They are NOT a charger. They WILL maintain your battery.

$20 at Walmart. I have mine hard wired so I just plug and leave.
