Default Question regarding OBDII port

I know the port is under the steering column on the bottom of the kick panel / lower dash. My question is whether it is supposed to move around. My OBDII port seems to "float" a few centimeters left right forward backward, and I wanted to make sure it's supposed to do that. Every other car I've owned or seen the OBDII port is stable as can be. Are there screws I should look for to make sure the port is "mounted" how it's supposed to be? Or should I take it in for service before my warranty runs out?

Thanks!

I just push the tabs back in on the side of the port.

Thanks I'll take a closer look and see if the tabs came loose.

I think that is normal! Both my 07 and my 08 did the same and I hardly ever used it..

I use mine at least 10 times a week. A little bit of movement is normal.

A little movement is normal. I attached a three foot extension cord to the port so that it would be easier to get to and anything I plug in will not be kicked when I drive.
