Default Issue with windshield trim

I know it's OCD but a section of my driver's side windshield trim is coming apart. Would anyone know the part number? Thanks in advance.

That plastic piece is part of the Applique for the windshield pillar.
Right side part # is 22773106 and left is 22773105
They run around $70.00 each.

WOW I have that exact same issue with my windshield. I have the replacement parts already, but that crazy. I wonder WHAT causes that.

Hi spdkilz911,

I’m sorry to hear about this concern with your windshield trim. Is it currently coming apart or has it been repaired? If the concern still exists and you would like to have it repaired, please send me a private message and I would be happy to help schedule a service appointment with your preferred dealer.

Have a great day,

Lauren,
The roof was painted almost two years ago. It was not painted by the dealer. I'm thinking I will try the super glue trick. It looks like one side will need to be trimmed a small bit to fit flush. Honestly, I don't trust anyone to work on any vehicle I have. Some things I have no choice on but I will try to fix this one myself. I really appreciate the response

It looks like someone cut that small trim piece shorter then it's suppose to be on the OPs photo, it's suppose to overlap the trim piece above it....."Super glue will not work" ... I had to use 2 part epoxy to hold the piece down..Get the 2 part epoxy made for plastic/ rubber..I picked up a tube at Advance Auto ... You mix up the epoxy , put a very small amount under the trim, then use a medium size Erwin clamp on the top of the pillar to clamp it down for about 4 hours ...This is the best fix I have found and it was recommended to me by a local body shop..You can fix it for about $5.00 instead of $70.00.......WW

Can this piece be removed and replaced while the windshield is installed? Or is it necessary to remove the windshield to replace this?

theres a track that they slide into and are simple to install with windshield in place.from some of the pictures posted some seem to try and compress the piece on.start at the top where it is displaced and slide the piece down the track that secures it in place

Well, from what I can see in the pictures that I've found on the internet, the GM part numbers listed on the above replies shows that the full part is a rather large piece with bolt holes and a frame. The little piece of trim that grows in length does appear to just snap into some grooves in the main part, but if I buy a new side piece, I will either have to rob the little strip from it, or, go for the full replace, which is what I'd prefer to do.
