Anyone have pics of their base C6 with splash guards?
Been thinking about adding the slim line splash guards to my base 2011. Anyone have pics of their base C6 with splash guards?

. . . with one caveat.
If you're old, taking the rear wheels off and putting them back on isn't necessarily easy. The rear guards require drilling holes in the fender liner and the wheels are in the way.
There is about 3" clearance between the tire and fender liner, too small for a regular right-angle drill.
But I found out, AFTER THE FACT, that my mechanic buddy has a real thin right angle drill that would have worked.
So if you're old and don't feel like taking the rear wheels off, ask any mechanics you might know if they have the drill mentioned above.

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
I had them on the narrow bodied car that I just sold, easy to install and looked great.

Well thats good to know, but regardless splash guards on a Corvette belong not !!! Now if one decides that the protection that they provide to be that important then thats a thought and understandable, but to say that splash guards make the car look better is just WRONG !!!....regardless of how thin or small they are....

The GM guards are only big enough to be functional (to prevent the paint behind the wheel from getting sandblasted or chipped) but are so unobtrusive otherwise that people don't even notice them.
I think someone said somewhere on CF that they are more noticeable on a white or yellow car, and that may be true. But as others also have said, they look like they came with the car from the factory.
