I replaced the shift cable in my 2006 vert. Now the top won't go up. Had the center console and shifter out and the the tunnel cover and h pipe. All is back together, but the top won't go up. Had battery disconnected. Have not indexed the Windows yet but will do that next. I can hear a clicking noise from the cover area. What should I check. Thanks

These cars are really finicky! Indexed the Windows and the top works! Thanks to all that will reply about this issue. Jda

They are quite touchy. I bought an '07 with 1600 miles, got it home the top wouldn't go down. I thought sh^%, took it to the dealer, and learned that lesson.

Nothing touchy about it.

It's simple, if the windows aren't indexed, the top won't move up or down.
