Hahahaha.
Both of my Vettes have over 110,000 miles on em. I'll keep em and drive em until I'm dead, then my kids can do what they want with em. Until then, I'm going to enjoy them as much as I can!

Well put...I don't understand the whole "garage queen" concept. They do look great from the outside, but the real fun starts behind the wheel for me! Corvette therapy !

I'm definitely not saving the girlfriend that never wears out. They should make tires out of that thing they'd last for a long time. I've already put 3K on my C6 since taking it out of storage. So I'm with you on the driving thing too...

Well, I've been driving the hell out of mine. Last driven in January...6,457 miles in 9.5 years. I'm not saving it for anyone. I have a five car garage that's full. I drive other vehicles that I favor more. Just sayin,,,

Everyone gets enjoyment out of their Corvette in the way that works for them. How can anyone be wrong if they are enjoying their car?

I happen to love daily driving my 07. 177,000 miles so far.
But my way is not the correct way for everyone.

I promised myself I wouldn't do that this time.
My last Vette was a C5 and only put on 10,000miles over 7years.
Basically I saved it for the next guy.

Try to use mine as a daily driver to work. I'm still careful on doing the burnouts so I'm not going through a set of tires every year, but I do enjoy driving it.

I don't drive mine every day. I let it sit from time to time whether it be due to weather or just don't feel like driving it. That way when I do hop in it and take off its like driving it for the first time.....again....and again. If I drove it every day and dealt with the hassles of driving a sports car of its type on a regular basis I wouldn't enjoy it as much. As far as comparing it to girlfriends, i'm married and way to old to go there, but making the comparison to your girlfriend back in the day....well...we won't go there either...LOL

Most guys are not doing any damage at all girlfriend wise. Heck of a lot easier to tear up a car..

I have 5 others as well. Don't need to nor do I want to drive it every day. Can't go to Home Depot to get a water heater or lumber.

I've put almost a thousand miles on my C6 so far... and I've owned it a week. My 07 only had 38k miles on it when I bought it, and while it's not my daily driver or my only toy, I think it's ridiculous to let a car like that just sit in a garage. If you have to put your vette on a tender, and it's not snowing or raining for weeks nonstop, you're doing something wrong. Just my opinion.
