Default 6' 5", 265#

I'm 6'5" and 265 lbs.

Us big & tall guys spend our lives living in a world that is made for smaller/shorter people. We are used to it. You will be fine in a C5 or a C6

My C5 6spd Coupe had the most room of all of my Corvettes. Very comfortable car to drive as there was actually an extra inch or two of space all around.
My C6 6spd Coupe with 2LT (current Vette) is just a little more snug than the C5 but it has enough room and is comfortable.

I have owned a 65 C2 convertible 4spd which I couldn't drive until I installed a telescopic steering column. Then it was fine.
My 70 C3 Coupe 350/350 4spd was a very tight fit but it was driveable.
My 81 C3 Coupe, the only automatic I have owned was also a tight fit. I cracked my head a couple of times on the overhead crossbar hitting bumps. Had to slightly hunch over driving that one.
Now my 96 LT4 6pd convertible was very tight. The pedals were so close together that I would occasionally hit the brake when stepping on the clutch. I also have big feet.

I can relate with that...having size 15 D for shoes size.

6'6 275 and can drive comfortably for hours in my c-6 but had to go with an automatic so I could have the clutch well space to extend my leg I do get some looks sometimes when I get out of the car and have been asked more times than I can count How do you fit in there Also found that no shoes on long trips is much more comfortable

You have made a mistake... when on long trips you can just extend your leg past the clutch pedal like the rest of us.

6'4" 260. 35" inseam, no issues, in my coupe but wouldn't fit with a helmet easily. Taken a few 600 mile highway drives with no issues, did a 500 mile mountain tour with lots of shifting (M6) with no issues.

My 6'5" 230 lb son barely fits in the passenger seat, FWIW. My wife is only 5'10"

Our C5 had a bit more legroom, especially for the passenger.

Our C6 definitely has more headroom.
On the C5, with the seat all the way down, my hair would still rub the inside of the transparent top; which has more headroom than the painted top because there is no headliner.
On the C6, I have 1-2 inches of space between the top of my head and the inside of the transparent top.

Beware of selection bias. You're asking the opinion of people who bought a C6, which means that they fit. Or at least they think they do. The people who didn't fit aren't here.

I'm almost as tall as you and it works, but my seat is all the way down and back. Any taller and I wouldn't fit. I have a friend who's the same height with a shorter inseam and he does not have enough headroom.

I suspect some of these NBA-height members are actually contorting themselves and have just become used to it. I can't see how 6'8" 300# is possibly going to work without performing unnatural acts.

All C6 hardtops should have nearly identical interior room. At 6'4", you really need to sit in one to know if you'll fit.

True, true. This info, I think, is still helpful to the OP. I have been 6' 5" since I was 16 years old, as put well earlier, in a world build for shorter averages. My entire life has been about adaptations as I'm sure others can attest. So, for me, it's more a matter of screening out the ridiculous misfits and enjoying the ones that I can make do; e.g.: I had to "fold" myself into cars like 911s and Audi TTs, or new Camaros, so badly that my head hit the roof and I couldn't look straight out the windshield, or my line of vision hit the top of the windshield. In the 80s, I came close, but had to reject buying a Ferrari 308 GTS BC I could barely drive it. As a sailplane pilot, I cannot fly some of the worlds best performance gliders BC they're built for pilots 5' 9".

If I went for "perfect" my most comfortable drive would probably be a Raptor, or some other gargantuan SUV. My concern, as I get older and less flexible, I will find myself forced out of performance cars and into the land yachts as some tall people I know have.

But, in the meantime....

I am 6'4 and have had a C3 t-top and a C6 vert. Seems the only 2 seater I fit in to are Vettes. I didn't fit into the C4 but mainly because of how small the foot well was and was uncomfortable with the 3 peddles to relax the left foot.

My 06 vert is now my daily driver and very comfortable, doing a Toronto to Las Vegas road trip this year and really looking forward to it. It is very comfortable for the 3-4 hour drives I do in it now.

If it fits buy it.

I'm one inch shorter than you at 6ft3" and can stretch my legs fully extended with the seat all the way back... Works very well for me and I hope your choice works as well for you. There is even a foot rest for your left foot that I always use.

6'5" 200lb and I fit in my GS coupe fine, and actually have another inch or two more headroom than the 2 C5Zs I had prior to the GS.

I have a 32" in seem, I hit the back of my head on the roof when I get in the car. but once im in I have about 2 inches of head room. people ask me all the time "how do you fit in that?" I always say stop drop and roll lol. my seat is all the way down and back and my view point is level with the mirror. I recently got the chance to sit in a C7 and could not fit, my head hit the roof, I had to hold my head to the side to see out the winshield.

6'6", 220lbs, have the clear targa, I tried putting the liner with suction cups but then my head rubbed on roof, fine without it. I can even wear a ballcap. But it's an auto as my legs would be uncomfortable clutching. Still, it's become my daily driver and I am perfectly happy with it, but getting in my truck is sometimes a pleasant relief. No long distance driving in the C6.

6'3" as well and NOT a single issue

However I would recommend to make sure you have power seats, That can make a HUGE difference

I tile wheel up and mine has telescoping wheel so is goes in and out
