Corvette Newbie - 6'4" need advice
Hello, I am new to the world of Corvettes. I am selling my 2015 Road glide Custom to fund my Corvette purchase.
My question looking for input. I am 6'4" (185# - 36" inseam), does anybody have any sugguestions for a more comfortable Corvette model, Seat mods ETC....
I am leaning towards a C5, or C6 convertible.
Thanks in advance,
Sean

Thank you everyone for your input. I sat in a friends C5 Targa top. I couldnt seem to adjust the seat back far enough, However with the top off, my head room was okay.
A HUGE Thank you for all of your input!!
I located and purchased a 06 C6 VERT Two days ago. 6way power seats, tilt and telescoping steering wheel are deffinatly the trick to fitting us Tall Folks into the cockpit.
I have put in a few 2 hour drives, WOW. I am Honestly impressed with the room and comfort. This is the first sport coupe I can honestly say I am comfortable in. I can even stretch my legs out under the peddles without hitting the fire wall!!!

I'm 6'4" and have a C6 convertible. I had the same worry. In the vert I still have several inches of head room. Don't know if thats the same in a coupe.
Depends on your build. I have long legs and normal torso. Still plenty of leg room.

I'm 6'1" but have 36" inseam and my Grandsport was the first performance car I ever sat in where I could get the seat back far enough. In fact, I don't even have to run the seat all the way back.
I also run the clear roof which gives you more head room in a coupe.

Another 6'4" vert driver here and my C6 is the most comfortable car I've ever driven. I was worried about head and leg room. No sweat, they're comfortable cars for tall guys.

6' 5" and comparably comfortable in my C6 coupe. Not so much in LOTS of other sport cars. Only other Sport I was as comfortable was my Jaguar XKR.

I'm also 6'4" and I have a C6 and I go in and out easily. I always raise the steering wheel up before leaving the cockpit. Everything else is just right. Going out you just swing both legs out and then you get up. Going in, the butt goes first and then you swing leg inside.

Make sure you play with the tilt angle of the bottom of the seat!
It makes a big difference in the roominess for tall people.
Good luck!

Just shy of 6'4" and I have plenty of room in my 3LT vert. The sport seats are extremely comfortable, even moreso than in my previous C5.

6'4, 230 lbs here-I think my c6 coupe is very comfortable. I have the telescopic control all the way out and wheel tilted up a few notches. I've played around with the seat controls-it currently has a slight backwards tilt. Mess around with everything and be sure to store it in the memory.. I couldn't be happier with how comfortable it is. As others stated above, there's a process for getting in and out of the cockpit but once you've got it down things go smoothly. Grab a C6-you won't be disappointed!
