Finally, Ive got a Vette!
Man, its been a dream since I was a little kid and this weekend it came true. After some serious saving I bought myself a 2005 Corvette Coupe with a stick and only with 20k miles on it too boot.
I figured before I went too wild on researching mods, id ask the community what they might recommend or any tips and tricks in general.
My main interests are currently in a decent sounding exhaust and a head unit... Its killer not having an AUX port. There is some confusion going on where ive heard that the head units are serialized? I cant seem to find anything that confirms to denies that. But anyways, let me know what recommendations ya'll have! Pics below!
Thanks!
Note: Ignore the 72, just keeping it covered for a friend

Nice car, I installed a Pioneer AVIC F80DAB, not sure what the USA equivalent is. Works well with my non Bose speakers and Android Auto linked to a Samsung S5 mobile.

If the exhaust is only for sound purposes, Billy Boat has the manliest sounding rumble I've heard ever. Make sure and get the one that has reduced drone.
For power plus some added sound, I'd look at a dyno tune plus headers such as LG long tubes.
Nice car dude!

Congrats on a nice looking 05. You may want to search 'Service Column Lock'. The 05 M6 can develop a no start problem due to it. Best to be aware of what to do.
