Default Painted my c6 air box

Just finished painting and clear coating my C6 Z06 air box soon to be installed on my 2013 crystal red GS. Not perfect but not bad for a first timer doing the paint thang. What thinks ye?

I purchased 1ea spray can of adhesive promoter that is required for painting plastic from my local home depot along w/ 1ea spray can of primer and then went to www.automotivetouchup.com, for the paint to match and clear coat. 1ea. spray can of tint coat and 1ea.spray can of clear coat.( they also have good how to instructions). Total cost for paint
Home depot aprox $20.00 for primers and sand paper and then another $40.00 to auto touch up for tint coat and clear coat. Or you can also purchase all the supplies needed from autumotivetouchup.com. They do a great job of color matching.

Thanks!
The Z06 intake doesn't have that added air box off to the side like the GS does. From what I can gather I think the extra box off to the side of the GS intake is supposed to be a silencer of some sort. Not sure but anyways I think it looks better w/out it. Just my opinion.

From reading about them on these forum its called a Heimholtz box or something close to that and the supposed function is to smooth out air flow, again
I read here that some who cut theirs off suffered from "surging" on their Vettes, but that's not confirmed by me.
Looks better without it but those engineers do some tricky stuff that I have no idea why but it works, again
Looks good thou, you mod freak
