Part not findable
So my Chevrolet dealership called me and said (out of the 30 years he's been doing this) he's never come across the situation I have.
What is happening:
The dealer says the part is discontinued so I can't purchase it through any of their channels so I need to buy an after market part. I have a warranty which agrees to pay for the part (up to $850) but the warranty company said they can't find it anywhere either. I called about 17 different parts re-sellers after seeing the part listed in-stock on their website, but when they check it's always out of stock. I found one salvage yard which has it but they won't warranty it, which means when I pay the chevy dealer for 6 hours worth of labor to put it in, if it doesn't work the warranty company won't pay for it. The service manager says sometimes parts companies buy up all these discontinued parts, but I can't find anyone who even has the damn part. I search on all the corvette sites for the part number and most don't even recognize it as a corvette part.
What is broken:
2005 Corvette Convertible
89060303 - Break Pressure Modulator Valve
Where do I find this discontinued part for my corvette which has a warranty?
I have heard that C6 corvettes have problems with the ABS system leaking and need to be replaced often, have you heard this too?
I have the same problem as this guy did 3 years ago, but now apparently there are no parts available.

Le Mans Master
Is there a possibility that the module can be rebuilt?
