Default Thanks to the CF

2008 coupe that doesn't get driven as much as it use to and, as a result, I was getting a lot of bleed down between starts. Valve noise was significant until oil pressure was sufficient to get oil to the lifters. Then I remembered the procedure for cranking the engine without starting that was shared here in C6 Gen. Now I simply crank the motor a few times before I start it. No noise anymore as oil is replenished up top prior the starting and higher RPM's.

Press and hold the throttle to the floor and press the start button. Engine will go through a cranking cycle without starting.

make sure the car is in Park (auto) or neutral (manual), because if yu lift-off the throttle even slightly the engine will fire-up...
