Anyone trimmed their chin spoiler?
Mine rubs when taking the car through twisties on mountain roads which at times can be a bit disconcerting and takes away from the pleasure of the drive. Anyone trim an inch off the bottom of all three pieces? I know C5 guys are wary of doing this as they don't have the opening in the front bumper but I figured the C6 has better cooling and may not need the full chin spoiler to obtain sufficient cooling. Thanks for your opinions!

After I lowered the car on the stock bolts, I did trim off about 1/2" off the 3 pieces to stop the constant rubbing. I do try to be careful, and have a front facing camera mounted on top of the center piece for curb parking, but also use the camera when I'm going over uneven terrain to assure that I don't hit the radiator support.

I wouldn't worry about it. It flexes back if it is rubbing (going forward) and eventually it will wear itself down anyway.
But if it bothers you that much, go ahead and trim it 1/2" or so. I don't think that would hurt your car at all.

I trimmed mine. When I installed my supercharger, I had to lower the radiator support and I couldn't get 2 fingers between the ground and the air dam. I probably trimmed half mine off. Didn't affect anything and it's not noticeable. Just have to use a razor knife and take your time to cut really straight lines.

It's self trimming as far as I can see it.

A piece out front attached to the front bumper is call an air "splitter" or a "spoiler" by some.

I've trimmed it. But not deliberately.

I drag so bad on my steep driveway. Not such a hard drag now. Does not seem to be any ill effects.

Thanks guys. I'll be trimming mine. When I take passengers for a ride and they haven't been in a vette before, when it scrapes the usually utter something like "Holy S@%t, did we just hit something?"
Update: trimmed it with a box cutter and used tape as a guide line. Will see how it does tomorrow.
