Both C6R and C7R are velocity yellow
I like blue but yellow does pop!

Only produced for 2 years, Monterey Red! Not only a Show winner but a Strip winner too!

Yes they will but other colors are more forgiving. Black is a backbreaker. Especially when there is a high blue sky that you can see forever. Every swirl, every tiny scratch is multiplied. Other colors will not catch the light as well. Other darker colors are troublesome also. What the California dustr does is pick up debris from the surfaceand stores it in a waxy parrifin coating and doesnt release it. One tiny piece of sand on the car that is picked up will remain and it will scratch the surface on every use of it.what I use is a detail dister that you roll in your hand that creates static electricity. It is passed over the surface and attracts debris but doesnt touch the surface at all. Nothing takes the place of a washing. If the car is that bad then niether should be used as a substitute. Best color for a show car imho is red. The lowest maintenance color is Silver or yellow

But Victory Red always seems to draw a crowd in parking lots.

Victory Red is my favorite. I like Torch Red, but beside the Victory Red, it looks like it has more orange in it.

Please be as specific as possible, with examples even better.
Trying to narrow some options down. Thank you in advance CF peeps
Your question is:

What would you consider a show winning color?

IMO - that is like asking ... what are the winning lottery numbers in next weeks lotto drawing

People have different taste and car fads continually change.

Personal example:

We recently bought my wife a Lexus RC350 coupe..... Why do I bring this up?

Because we bought our car after seeing it at a new car auto show a couple a years ago. Even though the exact car (color and options) that we ended up buying was on display at that auto show .... what Lexus RC did I take a picture of at that show?:

We would never consider buying that orange Lexus as her daily driver..... However, that orange Lexus is the car I remember from that auto show.

Another example - my own car:

My car was originally sliver .... and .... I like sliver..... But nobody remembers seeing my car when it was sliver.

But now:

I'm not saying everyone likes the color I painted my car ..... but .... they remember it

Yeah, there is an area in Northeast AZ, in fact, the NE quarter of the state where black vettes and red ones are really rare too...you have a point.

Thank you for your reply. You see? It wasn't hard to post a very articulate opinion on show var colors. Love that blue. Reminds me of Grabber Blue. I also love Miami Blue in the Porsche palette

Greats cars in here, I truly appreciate everyone's input. I'm liking red, been loyal to blues, cant count black out yet. Then those funky orange and tennis ball green cars looks like one offs.

I've always liked the Torch Red. The 72 year old gentleman who ordered the red c5 I bought last year said " Nobody ever wrote a song about a little blue Corvette" !!!
Corvettes look great in about any color though.....It's hard to decide on which ONE is best.

Variety is the spice of life!...otherwise, we'd all be driving Victory Red coupes.

But then when you really grow up and realize the reckless ways of your overspent middle age, you return to red realizing that you had right in the first place.

Back in 07 people called Arctic White an appliance color.
My 07 has been White and Black in various combinations since 08. Now the combo is very popular.

Show winning combo.
