Hey guys. I just purchased an 08 ZO6 with the 3LZ package, bone stock except for a Corsa exhaust, with 6200 original miles on it. I picked it up in Columbia, MO, and drove it back home to Chesterfield. Cleaned it up, waxed / polished it, got the LLUMAR protective film package professionally installed (bumper, hood, fenders, rockers, side mirrors, and door edges), changed the fluids, registered it, and now I can relax. I didn't do this in all one day, by the way.
Upcoming plans are to get the heads issue addressed, and then new Michelin PSS tires. Eventually I will do long tubes, CAI, maybe intake manifold, and a tune, and that's it power wise. I came from a fully built Z16 with a T Trim putting down 600 to the tires on a conservative tune. Definitely not going that route again. It was fun, but not an ideal setup for a daily driver, which that (and this new one) is. Yes, I'm going to drive it daily sans snow / inclement weather. Here are some pics:

A beauty. Might also want to post it on the Z06 forum...

Nice looking Z06!
Good luck with the planned "enhancements" and elimination of any possible valve train concerns.
As mentioned above, a lot more info. in the Z06 specific area if the need arises.

Awesome, beautiful car. I almost bought a silver one. Love the color. Something so exciting about a new to you car isn't it? I know the feeling as mine is 1 week old with me.
Those wheels are the finishing touch. Looks stunning.

Yes, welcome to the few who have had Z06s.
It's a wonderful car. I loved every minute in it. I also love the double spoked wheels better than the spyder wheels.
