Tefer you guys were Awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, from start to finish.
When we got to the hotel they already had free food, and drinks set up in the conference room for everyone. The club members treated us like we been friends for years lol. And when the show was over they all stood at the parking lot exit cheering and waving goodbye to everyone. I have done many car shows but never experienced hospitality Nebraska style. I will be back next year even if I don't compete.

I don't own a trailer, and funny u asked because it was a 3 hour drive and it rained all the way there.

Then on the way back while driving threw this lil Podunk town the police had the road blocked off so we had a 5 mile detour down a gravel back road, it was baaaaaaaaaaad.

The hospitality, friendliness, and all around way they treat you up there is amazing to say the least. There were about 250 to 300 corvettes there of every generation, some worth over 200k and yet I won peoples choice. I also won 1st in my class against not 1 but 2 beautiful Callaway's.
The peoples choice is what I wanted more than anything and am most proud of because all the other awards basically come down to a few judges decision. But the peoples choice is the voice of the people attending the show and all or most agreed that my car was the best looking car there.
Congrats

It's still at the paint shop. LOL! Almost done though. All panels are painted and just the front quarters, bumper, side mirrors and rear diffuser need to be put back on.

Yes, long but in the long run I saved about $2000 by going with this painter even though he has to take other jobs in between finishing mine.

The end is near!

Beautiful car Commander. Looks like the RPI ZR!-AL front splitter. I have one too. Is that paint on the edge for color contrast or is it chrome door edge trim? I have thought about looking for some of that door edge trim in black with the adhesive in it. Used to put on my doors years ago. I have had to touch up some contact edges on the splitter a few times in the last two years

Yes it is the RPI Zrail but that is just thin white pin stripe tape along the bottom, easy to replace if damaged or scuffed.
