Default Replacement key blank - not key FOB

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement key blank from? Not the FOB but the key that is inside the FOB.

I have too but it appears that there are 5 (maybe more) different blanks that fit different FOB styles.

Does anyone know the actual part number for the blank?

B106 or B106-P P denotes plastic covering that can ground off to fit in wallet!
This fits my 08c6

I am actually looking for the blade that fits inside the key FOB. I have a used FOB that is electronically programmed to my car but the key blade does not fit the car.

I like the screen name BTW.

Found it!

Can't find a part number for it but I found the blank. The blank is said to be used in the CTS, STS, XLR and Corvette.

On a side note - I cannot believe how much these FOB replacements cost! $100 for a transmitter! I can buy the Chrysler equivalent for $30 and it does everything this GM FOB does. I thought the C4 FOB replacements were high but considering they are 20 years old, I guess they are cheap.

I'm guessing the Chrysler fob does not do all the things the later C6 fob does; like getting activated by any small item in your pocket, cracking when you try to change the battery or drop it, refusing to release the key or (alternatively) refusing to hold the key in place, etc.

What a piece of junk, we had the early fob on our 2006 and it was worlds better.
