Default Storing c6 on a 2 post lift for 6 months

I just got a 3rd vehicle. Need to store the Vette on my 2 post lift so I can fit the Tacoma underneath it.

Any issues doing this for 6 months straight on a C6? Any suggestions?

I saw some threads saying it was bad for the frame/suspension, but they were all for c3 & c4's. Id imagine the c5 & up have much stiffer construction.

Will of course make sure the lift locks are set for safety. The car will probably come down once or twice to work on the other cars.

I'm curious about this as well. With some cars, it's thought that letting the suspension hang can put stress on the bushings. I have no idea if that applies to the C6 though.

If nobody answers, lift up the car and thoroughly examine the suspension connection points to see if any rubber parts are getting stretched or compressed in a way that might cause damage over time.

It may be prudent to remove the wheels if you do this, to at least take a bunch of weight off the control arms. Most of the suspension components are pretty light weight so I would think that would alleviate any problems.

I don't have a definitive answer. But I would not. That is why I have a four post lift.
