Need help deciding on vinyl color
I've got an 09 base model that's currently black. I recently installed z06 rear fenders, and they're just in grey primer. I'm not super thrilled about the black color, and it has the usual wear and tear that would be nice to refresh. I'm ready for a color change, but I'm not ready to commit to paint yet. Hence why I'm looking at vinyl. I'll be doing the install myself, so it'll just be the material cost. I understand what that involves as I've done some vinyl work previously.
I've got it narrowed down to 3 colors from 3M:
-gloss dragon fire red
-gloss fiery orange
-gloss liquid copper
Looking for opinions on what members here would choose as I really like all 3 colors and can't seem to decide.
I'm also thinking about possibly doing the top/halo in gloss black (just to freshen it up) with the other color on the rest of the car.
Thoughts?
Anyone have one of these colors on a c6 that they could share pics of?

EVERYBODY does black and red. I like the one in the middle the best. Black and orange looks like a pumpkin when it's light like the bottom one.

If I had to choose between the three choices, I would say the second one, gloss fiery orange.
I would definitely suggest doing the black halo and roof. You did say your car is black, correct? Why wrap the top if it's already black? Is the black paint messed up?
How about Lamborghini green?

I'd go with orange.

I like the first one. Never have been a big fan of orange.

If I go with a black top, id like to wrap it for two reasons:
-the current black paint isnt in great shape (although it's not particularly bad). It's got the typical fading and light swirls and dings from sitting outside a lot in the AZ sun and from 50k miles of driving. They could certainly be buffed up to look nearly new, but there is also the second reason.
-I'd like all the panels to be the same color/condition if I ever went back to stock to sell the car. I'm thinking if I wrapped everything, I could always strip the wrap, put the stock rear fenders on, and then all the panels would match perfectly since they've all been protected from the sun. I'm worried if I left the top exposed that it would continue to fade and wouldn't match well anymore, especially after a few years.
I don't have any short term plan to sell the car, but I'd like to keep that option open in the long run. From what I've seen, it seems like it would be a lot easier to sell stock vs modded.
As for that green, I'm honestly not a huge fan. Ive always liked the DSOM and AO c6 colors, so that's kinda what has led me to the choices above as they're all in that same ballpark.

Well, I went ahead and ordered the middle one, the fiery orange. Also ordered a small amount of gloss black for the roof. Hopefully it turns out nice, I wasn't able to find a pic of a c6 in that color.

Making some progress. I've got the top and halo done in gloss black.
So far I've done both front fenders, the hood, the driver's door and mirror post, the gas door, zr1 spoiler, and the hatch in orange. Hopefully I'll be able to knock out the rest over this 4 day weekend, if I don't run out of material.
The downside side is that now the clips on all 4 side markers are broken. They're just too brittle to squeeze to get them released. Maybe I'll get some replacement smoked ones.
Below is a pic before I did the spoiler or pass fender. Body lines looks wacky because most of the screws are out of the fenders and front bumper so I can wrap the edges easier.

One would hope he finished, since that last "progress" post from the OP was from over a year ago (11-24-2016)
