Default 2008 headlight ?
When driving at nite with low beams lites sometime blink also when going over bumps. This is intermittent could something is loose. Thanx for any help in advance. Jay

I think there was a recall for the low beams.

Have you had the low beam recall done yet? There is a break point in the ground wire for the low beam headlights that will separate when the fuse box gets hot, and the low beams will go out.

I just had my 2008 done a few days ago. I think if you go to the GM site and search, there is a spot where you type in your VIN number
and it tells you what needs to be fixed.

The recall applied to our 2009 and was done, no charge, by the dealer.

My 2013 was done, no problem. They will do it for any year preemptively.

Some people with older cars have had worse issues afterwards because of the taking apart of the fuseblock and have more loose or broken connections.

It's a roll of the dice, but if yours are actually bad then it is a worthwhile gamble that the jumper will fix it without any other trouble.
