Default Time to check the tire psi!

Now that Fall is in it is a good time to check the tire pressure, for those that tend not to be **** about it. Then when Winter comes do it again.

I like to do it mid morning for a balance in the temps.

Noticed mine getting lower so I had them aired up and balanced at the same time.

Normally your tire sensors go off this time of year that your pressure is out of whack.

Best not to let it get to this point. The first thing I check is the visual and then scroll through the disc after rolling some. This is with every drive out of the garage.

Having a Commercial driving background I have learned to been very attentive to tire issues.

It might be surprising to some the number of underinflated tires I see on the roadway.

It would not be surprising to the number of fools holding their cell phones while driving.

Check mine on the DIC every time I drive it. I've already added 3 PSI once this fall and am going to have to do it again.

I guess I am one of the axxl pressure checkers referred to above. Check each time I go for a cruise before pulling the car out of my garage...cold tire...30 PSI. That's the correct way.

So, without anyone suggesting "read your manual", what is the recommended tire pressure for stock size RFs? I just had two new Michelin Pilot Sport AS + rears put on my '09 and, as I rolled out of America's Tire I checked the air pressure. All four tires were at 30 psi.

Then they did good because 30 PSI is exactly what you want according to the sticker on the door.

READ the sticker on the drivers side door jam, of any vehicle for proper tire inflation. 30lbs. Cold pressure is what it should be.
