Anyone found a way to REDUCE drone? Highway drone with
the automatic / SLP 2 & headers is just too much at times.
(REDUCE drown with out replacing the exhaust). I love the
sound of it (outside) though.

The SLP is going to drone; there's nothing to be done about it as that exhaust system has drone with or without headers.

Get rid of the SLP 2 and get a CORSA it will not drone as much. The A6 transmission is a big part of the problem. It keeps the car at the 1500 - 2100 RPM level right where the exhaust will drone.

ditto...i had the slp lm2 without lt headers and the drone was bearable. once i installed the lt it sounded even better outside but the drone was unbearable on the highway. i removed them and sold them in the classifieds section and got a set of b&b fusions. now i have the great sound and can turn off the drone at will.

I could see that coming, SLP are similar to B&B Bullets. I've owned bullets before my header install but switched to an Z06 Bimode exhaust. I have no drone at all with TSP headers catless xpipe and Z06 exhaust.

hate to say it, but ditch the SLP those suckers are loud and will always drone (headers and high flo cats only make it worse).
