Default Good Stereo Shop for C6 near SOCAL?

getting ready to replace the old navi in the C6 because out of nowhere, it says "Navigation DVD Not Found" or something of the like. so since my navi broke so i have to go aftermarket.

going to go with the:
Pioneer AVIC-5200NEX

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1305200...NEX.html?avf=Y

i saw the installation kit they have available, and it will retain most of the factory features like all the audible safety alerts in addition to:

Steering Wheel Controls
OnStar
Satellite Radio
Not supported by install package
Retained Accessory Power (RAP)
Extra Connections for DVD and GPS
Factory Wiring Connectors

so im scared to take it to any random stereo shop where some pimply teenager is going to mess up my install,

anyone have recommendations of a stereo shop that did the install well?

and i want to get all new door speakers and center speakers and amps, any recommendations? i want it to sound beast!

Give Dennis at Double D Mods a call. He has a sale going right now on JL Audio components. I just bought all new speakers from him, along with a couple of sub boxes and a JL Audio 5-channel amp.

608-854-2033 or 608-854-2034 are his phone numbers. Doubledmods.com is the Website.

I would strongly suggest you call him, though, as he will put together a custom package for you that you would not be able to find on the site.

Before you give up on the radio you might take compressed air and blow it into the dvd slot. The reason I say this is when I got my car it said there was NO CD in the radio even with a cd. Someone here said blow it out and sure enough the cd player works great ever since.
