Default 2006 base radio aux button question

On my 2006 , the base radio has a CD/AUX button. Is there an AUX jack somewhere that I could plug my phone into?

No.

The first Aux jacks appeared in 2008 on the Bose non-Nav radio. It is on the front panel of the radio.

In 2011 they added the USB and Aux jack for the Nav radio and put them in the console.

You can buy an aux jack that will plug into your C6 radio/Nav harness to allow you to plug in your phone.
With this aux jack, it uses the XM band to play your songs. As soon as you plug in the jack, it cuts off the XM signal, and changes to the jack feed.
Ray Kawal sells these plug and play harnesses, or as a kit for the DIY'er

I have Aux Harness 3 which includes the speed bypass to be able to select destinations while travelling.
I also have the Kinivo bluetooth that plugs into the aux jack if needed.
