ZO6 shocks on a 2008 Z51?
Has anyone run the oem ZO6 shocks on a factory Z51 set up? I have a new set in the box, but have not installed them yet on my 2008 Z51.

put the Z51 sway bars, Z06 shocks, and Z51 springs on my '07 base coupe with better handling as the result............ if I recall correctly I believe the front shocks are the same, the rears slightly firmer from Z51 to Z06................ Cultrag Factory Parts, forum vendor could help you out there too..................

We found the stock Z51 shocks pretty brutal on the crummy roads of Illinois, I suspect the Z06 shocks would be as stiff or stiffer. Depending on your roads and butt, that might be ok or might be unbearable.
For track use, stiff shocks are usually fine.
Eventually, we went to the Bilstein Heavy Duty, which are actually a kind of medium duty; stiffer than base but softer than Z51/Z06/Bilstein Sports. For driving on public roads where even the curves can be bumpy, we think they are an excellent compromise.
But as always, YMMV.

I've seen several for sale on EBay for a reasonable price. Sometimes dealers sell them at a discount on there to turn over inventory that has been sitting for a while.
