How Many Miles On Your C6?

Burning Brakes
I have only had my 2012 GS 2LT for 2 months now. It had 37,187 on it and now has 39,476. It is is my DD and I will drive it every day, unless there is snow/ice on the roads.
I love seeing all of the high mileage C6s on here. Just shows how solid of a platform they are if taken care of. I look forward to MANY MANY more miles on it!

Hi Folks,
Had mine since 2006 and have driven it like I stole from day 1. Was looking for advice for Tampa clutch work. I think need either throwout or slave. Clutch rebuild 2 years ago - sitting in garage and sad! Don't want to take it back to folks who did clutch work as do not believe they did good job.
Appreciate!

Sounds, like many of us, that you know how to enjoy a Corvette.

To Last901:
"I don't need 3 cars. So should I sell one of my two Mazdas or sell one and use the C6 as a daily driver. Kinda' starting to wish I'd done the latter."
Take good care of it, keep up the maintenance, park it with care, but drive it like you stole it every chance you get. I know your climate; I lived in Woodinville for ten years. Does it rain there? Yeah, but so what? Car washes deal with that and even at that, a Vette still looks pretty good even when dirty. Snow is rare unless you head up the passes, so just park it when it's down to your elevationand wait for a better day - and those are all summer long. You're gonna be dead a long time; no point starting now.

I bought my 2005 base last October. It has 60,000kms so 37k miles. I plan on putting as many miles on it as I can. When I get between 150,000 Kms and 200k I will sell it for 10k and buy another low km Vette for 20k. Basically my plan for corvette ownership is to spend 10k every 8-10 years and always get myself into another low mile car that someone wanted to keep safe from rain so I could enjoy it later after its done depreciating.
