Default Right-Hand Drive Corvette Is a Rare Ride

Right-hand drive Corvettes were never officially made for the Aussie market, so custom conversions became necessary.

Does that mean the gas pedal is opposite as well?

you keep all pedals in the same configuration , so you don't make a mistake in a panic

NZ does it better. They just allow them to stay Left hand drive. None of this conversion nonsense.

There's more leg room on the left side of the cabin. It must make for a tight fit on the right.

The pedal cluster on all RHD cars is the same as LHD, Corvette or not. Shifting tree as well. I've never driven a RHD Corvette, but had several RHD autos while I was living in Singapore and travelling Australia. Depending on the make, sometimes the blinker and windshield wiper assemblies are opposite. Was on my Mazda... I had the cleanest windshield in Singapore!
