Say Thank You to ..... Turbo6TA.

Ya try to help and some people just don't get it.
I bought the stiffer seat foam For I think it was $69 when I bought it and it worked great, the foam is stiffer for a reason and yes it gets softer as you sit in it more. The KIT is a waste of money for the simple reason that you can cut your old seat cushion up into the same pieces if the pieces make you feel warm and fuzzy. The piece of felt/jute whatever you want to add so your foam does not get cut up by the wire is not "rocket science" just put something in there.
Worked GREAT! for me and they even sold a seat bottom replacement for my 1998 Camaro Z28. These guys have sold a ton of these replacement foam cushions for a reason and the reason is that they are "BETTER" than the OEM seat foam.
Guys when someone tries to Help you out just take it for what it is worth and please don't criticize the hand that feeds you.

Just used the other kit from WCC, works fine. Since I was replacing my covers anyway, just re-enforced the foam with some strips of vinyl from the old covers where the foam rests on the frame. They all look pretty similar IMO. Good luck.

I have to agree. The seat kit worked fine for me. Had it installed 3 or 4 years ago and it made the seat 100% more comfortable and the bolsters stayed right where they belonged.

Ordered my foam seat bottom inserts from WCC for $74.99 plus free shipping. Pays to shop around. $100 per seat to a local seat & convertible top shop who also added some kind of barrier between the foam and wire/frame cross members. What a difference to have a built up seat.

Default This kit rocks!

Wow. The kit really does what it says it
does at a really reasonable cost.

That doesn’t work if you have a Z!

I replaced the seat covers on my 99 C5, and I thought it was pretty easy to remove both seats. Disconnect the electrical wires and unbolt the seats. It took me about an hour in my living room to remove the old and replace with the new ones. Is there something about the C6, that would make this a much more difficult project?

I bought my kit from a vendor on here who also sells on ebay. I got the jute pad, extra foam, ballistic nylon, etc. I can really tell the difference in support. I would do it again.

if you don't mind the extra bucks, the new seat bottom is a good deal to go with the above. I weigh about 150, so did not think it that important.
