Default My interior is complete!

I always knew that the early c6 corvettes had a crummy interior and I thought I could cope with it when I purchased my 2011 IO z07 in august of last year. Well I was wrong!

I swapped to a 2012 steering wheel within days of ownership. Over Christmas I did the 2012 seat conversion. This weekend I installed the gm accessory pedals. I also installed a mgw and at the same time some dsv leather which included a shift **** and boot as well as a new e brake handle and boot. I ALSO TOOK CARE OF THAT STUPID SILVER E BRAKE BUTTON THAT DID NOT MATCH A THING IN THE CAR!1!!!11!

Finally I have an interior worthy of my 8k mile Z!

Thoughts...!

What am I missing on difference in steering wheel? Is it thicker wheel on 2012 and with the thumb grooves? Maybe need to pop out to the garage and look to see what I might be missing. Can't remember if mine has that...as I just got at the end of summer and been in storage for winter for past few months...lol. Looks good anyways.

The old e-brake button better matched the chrome rings on the magnetic ride **** and the shifter/cup holder trim....

Just kidding man, the car looks fantastic! While less passionate about it, I do like the way the black button turned out.

ENJOY that amazing car!

I originally thought the e-brake button didn't match anything when I first got my C6. Then I realized it does match the door lock release bezel and the shift **** top cap. I decided against changing all of those other accents to black so I kept it silver.

Great job though! I did a similar conversion myself (2012+ steering wheel, shift **** and boot, ebrake and boot, DSV console lid, and those same pedal covers). All the interior pieces are black with red stitching. Made a big difference. I also colored the stitching around the center console red. I would love to do the 4LT door handles one day, but those are so expensive for what they are.

Anyways, I absolutely love those seats. I would love to do a conversion one day, but it seems like a ton of work. How much did that seat conversion run you? Also, did you have to drill for that dead pedal cover? I never got that one. I remember a reason why I didn't, but I can't remember now haha.

Just saw the picture of your car below. Absolutely stunning man. I love that color so much. Jealous! Hahah.

The e brake button doesn't match the shift **** or door bezels in the 2011. On my car those pieces are a brushed aluminum finish. The dead pedal cover sticks on.

Mine are brushed aluminum as well in the 08. I believe that is the year they changed, but I could be wrong. It obviously isn't a perfect match, but at first glance they all have a silver-esque color so I was okay with it. It would've been better if GM made the ebrake button brushed aluminum.
