Velcro/ mount to the tunnel near your right leg.

You are not answering/ call while driving are you?

You need a storage spot vs. your pocket and heat of the center console.

If using as nav....your call... best IMO is on top of dash as to not avert your eyes from the roadway.

That's my two cents....good luck with your decision.

Now I have a scosche magnetic mount stuck to the dash between the Option DIC button and the radio bezel. Had to use adhesion promoter to get it to stay. But NO permanent damage and it's RIGHT THERE for texts/alerts/navigation. Plus, I made a magnetic phone stand for my office and at home using a similar, flush mount magnet from scosche. I'll take some pictures when I can. Just put the metal plate between the phone and case. Sticks much better than the size of the mount would suggest. Most everybody that I show orders one immediately.
This is the one I bought. See my photos above. Available at Walmart.

I've got a cell phone holder mounted to a base that fits right into the cupholder. Very stable, nothing mounted permanently to dash or phone. When I need both cupholders I just place it in the back. About $20 . . . think I got it at BJs or Target but sure its on Amazon too.

Mine's in the console plugged in to Android Auto. Anything I need my phone for can be accessed through the stereo.

Usually sits in the cupholder. Not optimal but it works. If it's a scenic drive and I couldn't care less, it goes into the oven (center console)
