Default Fixed Creaking Top
Just fixed my 2013 creaking painted top with two O rings and dielectric grease on contact points as per the forum...

On the early cars putting a C- clip on the latch roller also cured alot of squeaking tops.. The roller sliding on the pin would make alot of noise..This was the problem with my 05..Glad you got it fixed , nothing worse then squeaking in a car.....WW

The C-clip worked for my 2008 roller latch and has been silence ever since.

The "0" ring seems to be the fix for the new "redesigned latches".

Is this "creaking top" an issue for C7's?
