Thanks.
I had the same front lip, flew off at 155+ in Mexico threw on my spare zo6/gs front air dam which I don't have an issue with at those speeds, so I'd recommend some type of reinforcement. I also have the same side skirts, great fitment and no issues at high speeds or hitting high speed bumps. No hardware was included when I got mine, I just used self-tapping screws to make it easier to remove.

Pic of the skirts on my base c6 with widebody and the front lip when I still had it.

Mine on car stock height and I have 4 1/2" front ground to splitter. It increases contact with driveways and such only because it protrudes outward more than the stock unit
Oh, and its been approx. 135mph, still there

Wow, the one for the base model is hideous.

OP ... your car looks absolutely great with those parts!

And to balljointnut, I totally agree...eBay pic of base car part looks ridiculously poor. (I have a base car and been thinking about adding a front splitter and haven't found one yet.)

They make one just like mine for the base, only the dimensions are different I believe, the one from above is positively hideous
WSA has them and you just order the one for base cars

Well, now I've ordered a cheap front splitter and side skirts. Got the below splitter as the one sold by Icon Motorsports is a tragedy appearance wise.

I really should quit visiting this forum or up my self control a bit.... nah.

Which splitter did you get? Yours looks more of a rigid ABS, like the side skirts I got. I like the shape and finish of yours better than mine (Thats what she said!)

Its the one from WSA Auto, pretty flexible so quite sure its ABS ??
It is not a perfect fit but most would not notice any defects, had to trim a little on the ends but for the money you cant beat it. Comes well packaged also

Same one here. I was not happy with the small gap between the splitter and fascia, so some black weatherstrip (EDPM?) from Home Depot solved that issue.

Can any of you guys offer any advice on installing the splitter? I bought a cheap one on ebay and it came with some screws. It doesn`t look like the screws will hold very well. Can I use the screws that hold the stock lip on?

The OEM fasteners are the only ones I used although I did have to obtain longer screws for the braces/stiffeners in the air slots. You do have to line it up and drill the holes in the splitter yourself, helps to have 3 hands

I also used the stock screws but used larger washers to better help support the splitter.
