I purchased from this same vendor. Carbon Fiber- came with splitter, side skirts with 1" extension, and mud guards. Agree- excellent packaging. Like the poster- they are sitting on my floor in need of install!

Much thanks rkj427! I've been speaking with Mike at CF Kits the past 2 days & he gave me an awesome deal on front splitter, extended skirts & the rear spoiler, shipped right to my door! Based on the research I've done & hearing your's & other members comment on the excellent fitment right out of the box, I'm extremely happy with my purchase & can't wait for the kit to get here next week!

Anyone looking for awesome fitment, awesome prices to your door, and awesome customer support then check out Mike @ CFKits.com You'll be glad you did!

Drop the "cheap", they are the less "expensive" ones, and they look great IMHO

just because they don't charge you the Corvette tax, doesn't mean it is in anyway inferior....................... fit and finish is spot on

The front lip was shipped in a slightly small box and wouldn't lay flat, I just used some heat to get it lay flat before drilling the mounting holes.

Thanks to this great forum for all the info!
Jer

So I got my new "cheap" lip installed and overall I'm happy with it. HOWEVER, its longer on one side then the other. My body shop did a great job making the lip look good, but there is a gap on the passenger side because the lip is shorter then the bumper. But its only noticeable upon closer inspection.

I also got my windshield tinted today

Vette looks great EH.

Thanks for the write up, I just got my kit from CFKits delivered on Monday. I'll probably do my own install also, so your write will definitely come in handy. I also called a few body shops and when they heard "Vette" & "body kit" (explaining in full detail) they all shied away, with the "you have to see a custom shop" excuse...Believe me, if there was a custom shop I would've called them first.

Also tried a few shops first- no one would provide a quote. Start with the splitter first and get your confidence up

Strongly encourage a second person to assist with the side skirts. They are a bit tough to set- and you have to flex it a bit for the perfect it (or at least I did on the driver side)

FYI for anyone who has been browsing this thread but hasn't pulled the trigger yet. I've been following them on eBay until I can pick up a set myself and just got an email notification that wsa_auto has put these on sale. They've dropped $50 from $299 to $249.

What's with the red strip? What is it, pinstripe tape, paint? Did you have to prep the splitter or is that how it came?

You should tint those side markers & fog lenses with Night Shades VHT.

This Front ZR1 style Chin Splitter is great. And only $165 with free shipping!

Don't need any extra finish applied to it either. Looks just like the black plastic piece on the back of your C6 wide body ... Perfect match.

Yup ... made in China

Remember, this only fits only the 'wide body' C6s (GS and Z06)
