Default Cheap side skirts and front lip

I went ahead and added side skirts and front lip, I took a chance on a couple of the inexpensive ebay items. They actually fit great, I was quite impressed of the quality/fit for the low cost. None of the pieces had to be trimmed as I've read some of the brands require. The front lip was shipped in a slightly small box and wouldn't lay flat, I just used some heat to get it lay flat before drilling the mounting holes.

Thanks to this great forum for all the info!

Yeah, the lip is for the wide body only. They may make one for non widebody, it was an ebay seller called ikon motorsports. The skirts were from wsa-auto I believe.

Can you provide the ebay site info.

Assume these are black and not painted.

They really look good on your car.

Thanks,
Jim

the highlighted seller above also have front air dams for base bodied cars.............

a few wide bodied members here have purchased the air dams and posted about them here previously too.................

glad to hear the side skirts fit and finish is good............ more reasonably priced than some others.............

The front lip: Its a polyurethane material, so it has a glossier black finish than the side skirts, and has some flexibility to it. Will definitely help it from cracking if it hits anything.

Side skirt: (The price is not showing correctly on this link..) These are ABS plastic, they have the exact look and feel as the factory rear plastic diffuser (around the exhaust.) One of the bolt holes on the mud flap lines up exactly with one of the factory bolts in the wheel well, giving you a perfect place to start lining everything up.

Yes all the pieces are just the black plastic and unpainted. Using some "back to black" on the lip and the skirts, just as I do on the rear plastic, makes all the pieces look factory.

I dont understand at all, thread title says cheap but link shows $1300 lol. For that money some CF from several other vendors could be purchased.

jhaubrick,

It looks like that new chin provides MORE clearance than the OEM GS chin............does it?

Thanks,

Tom

Lol yeah, when I bought them they were like 250. As I said previously the price in the link is clearly not correct ( at least I hope not ). I would say the clearance on the front lip is about the same. It may be slightly thinner though, I will measure next time I have a chance.

Correct link?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZR1-Style-AB...BXPPAH&vxp=mtr

Do you have to drill for the side skirts and what type hardware is used? I see no hardware or installation guide is included.

I've been doing a good bit of research on these, as I'm in the market as well. I'd be interested to hear more about your installation. Did you use a lift/jack? Did you reinforce the front splitter? I've seen that some people had issues with the front splitter and air dam moving at high speeds without reinforcement (and some even coming off completely).

Thanks.
