Yes there is more to doing the front! It all depends on the look You are trying to achieve .

John never worry about the haters for there are an endless supply of them. When your car is finished and you see all the love it gets out on the streets like never before, you will know you did good. When I go to cruise nights I can park right next to a brand new C7 and most wont even look at that new C7. A stock C6 wont even get looked at parked next to a stock Mustang, crazy but true.

The build is looking good, if I would have gone the ssvette route I would have chosen the GS fenders. Super wide on a vert looks even better imho. Changing car color or staying red?

There are always going to be some people that have different tastes than you, so there is always going to be someone who doesn't like it. And that's fine, but some could be a little nicer about how they share their opinions. I'm sure it will turn out great in the end. I probably wouldn't be up for all the work it takes but I can definitely appreciate the end result.

Lmao, you're acting like a corvette is something special. Lmao dude it's just another car a dime a dozen. Hell imo only vette I'd even consider special other than a classic one would be a zr1 the rest tho z06/gs/base who cares dime a dozen. Get off your high horse. Let him do what he wants and listen to your mother next time and don't say anything if it isn't nice.

The thing that has always drawn me to corvettes is individualism and the fact the car is American. Albeit a little heavier or slightly less crafted than a Mercedes I love the feel and overall ride.

John, I like what your goal is. If I was closer I'd love to lend a hand.
Keep up the good work and we all need to see guys like you step out and make these cars closer to the owners idea of their own ideal car.

You do know there's very little difference to a GS and a base C6, right?

It's almost completely cosmetic. You seem a little butthurt that someone can make their car as prestigious as yours by just buying the ****ing panels for it.

"My toy is better than your toy because I am insecure about myself!!!!"

Sky High was all like:

I don't get butthurt every time I see a C6 with ZR1 styling bits. They provide aerodynamic functions and complement the look of the C6.

Honestly, I think the GS fenders are the best looking of the bunch, and any wide fender conversion is worth while both functionally and aesthetically to be able to fit wider wheels & tires.

The finished super wide body vert will look great, provided OP can find a shop to help resolve the fitment issues.

I was there to see this car at the show. It is amazing in person. I'm trying to remember, was yours the one with all of the custom fiberglass audio work in the hatch?

Hi John,

Welcome to the extreme widebody club. Glad you took the plunge.

Build the car for yourself and no body else. Make it your own!

Mine is still a work in progress, but I'm making it my own based on what I like, not what others do.
