Paid it off !! Hooray
Bought my 2011GS on 1/20/14 on a 60 month loan. Made the final payment this month, 37 months later. Really good feeling to have a clear title. Best car I ever bought. Time to start saving for something for the wife. Probably get it at the end of the year. Thinking a Cadillac CTS or Lexus ES350

Great feeling, congratulations and great idea on the buy the wife one next. If you don't, you may soon be selling before the divorce.
Hah, just kidding. Really though that's great, nothing like the feeling of having worked hard for something and earned it. It makes it all that much easier to appreciate it!

Owe just two more payments on my 11 G.S. myself. It would have been purchased about same time as yours.

Congrats.
Paid mine off years ago and can't seem to let it go. I have never kept any DD for more than 2 to 3 years before this 07. No plans to get rid of it anytime soon.

Great feeling. That extra freed-up income from the absent car payment can go towards mods now .
Oh and on a side note- CTS over the ES350.

I also have 2011 base coupe that is paid off, and just bought the wife a new CTS. We looked at the ES350 but couldn't get over the huge front grill. My wife said it looks like a big mouth bass. It is a nice car but the Caddy is a beautiful car. She loves it.

Owning a car (no loan or payments) is a great feeling. I hate debt and any kind of monthly payments. Growing up, if my dad told me once he told me a hundred times....if you can't pay cash, you don't need it. Maybe not 100% true, but there is some truth in that. When I see statistics that indicate how much credit card debt some people carry it amazes me.

Congrats on getting the car paid off. Nothing like not having to send a payment each month to the bank.

Congrats! I've already decided that when I pay my vert off, I'm buying another Corvette. I'm thinking a C6 Z06 that I can start using for racing so my vert can remain a show car.
