Default Traded in the Corvette...

I traded in my Black 2007 Corvette....
It was a fun car. Had 118,000 miles. Transmission replacement at 100k miles. No other issues except fot the issues caused by poor header install all of those fixed.

for a 2017 Toyota Tundra Crewmax

I went with a subtle easier to keep clean color Inferno Orange!!

This isn't the exact truck though. They didn't have the one I wanted. They are shipping one in from Texas and adding heated leather seats to it. I should have it early next week. I told them to please not touch it, clean it, detail it etc. It has 15 miles.

Congrats on the new truck. I'm guessing there will be days when you miss the Corvette. I'm fortunate to have a red Ram 1500 Laramie as my daily driver to go along with my weekend warrior red GS. I love both vehicles. Enjoy the new truck!

I am sure I will miss the vette. I don't have room to keep both though. No where to park it etc. The Vette is fun and fast but my wife doesn't enjoy riding in it much or going fast .

These are some cool trucks. Looking forward to years of use.

Will probably be posting up and older model INTUNE/Diablo tuner soon

Love my vette but I couldn't live without my Avalanche.

I get attached to my vehicles so I rarely sell them. We have five vehicles, including our 2002 F-150 SuperCrew. We have three in the garage, including three motorcycles, and two vehicles in the driveway. There is no more room in the driveway to park another vehicle without blocking all three bays. No way would I ever sell my GS. If I buy a C7 GS in a few years, one of the other vehicles would get parked on the street.

Sorry to hear you traded the Vette, but the Tundra is a great truck. I thought about getting one to pull my boat, but found a 2014 Silverado with the 6.2l 420 hp engine.

If I could only have one vehicle it would no doubt be a truck. I couldn't live without one.

Nice looking truck you got coming...

Smart feller going with a Toyota. Im a wrecker company owner in Missouri. I can tell you from the 14 years of towing that Toyota, Honda and Nissan are more reliable than the Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge as much as it bugs me. The tow records dont lie. Up until this past October my daily driver was Tacoma. I waited long in hopes they was going to offer a diesel Tundra. Ended up buying a new Ram 2500. I do like it, however its definitely not the build quality of my Tacoma. I can already hear air leaks in the doors and clanking in the back. Never towed or hauled anything yet and 5k miles.

Biggest problem with the Tundra is that they are gas hogs.

I went the opposite. Got rid of my Nissan truck for a C6. Could not be happier.

Some people just love to hate....

Nice truck and beautiful color! I had a white 2010, loved everything about it except the gas mileage.

There's a guy in my area with one of these. He must have paid $60K+ because he tries to "ball it out" everywhere he goes. I swear, he thinks it's a lambo something. Parking it in front of the local bar at an angle like it's on display. It's pickup.. relax

My DD is a 2o1o Dodge 1500 sport. Can't pull a 10,ooo lb boat behind the vet to boot. I have to have a truck. Any car (vett included) is more of a toy. Enjoy your truck, If times change, buy another fun car.

Enjoy the new truck, hope it gives you years of trouble free service.

I personally did a similar thing, traded my old 2010 GS for a f150. Turned out I just don't like trucks more than vettes. Traded that for what I thought was a perfect compromise of the two, an STI. Loved that, didn't have the practicality of the truck or the beauty of the vette. Found my 2012 and traded the STI for it.

Some people are truck pwoplw, others arent. I'm not.
